Corsham Foodbank – How it works

Local charities and supermarkets

Local charities also help us by giving us grants and we have good relationships with local Supermarkets such as The Co-op in Corsham Londis in Pickwick Road and Sainsbury’s in Chippenham. In each location a box is set aside for donations to the foodbank.

Our food and donations

We store all our donations and issue them in proportion to the needs of the particular client. We try to issue food that will contribute to a balanced and nutritious diet.

Although we can store only dried, packet and tinned food, we give vouchers to enable our clients to get fresh milk, bread, spread, cheese, eggs, meat and fish, toiletries and hygiene products from the Co-op in Corsham. Fresh fruit and vegetables can be obtained from May’s Greengrocer in Corsham.
